Verinform 3.0 Released October 4, 2005 - Portland, Oregon Verinform has issued Release 3.0 for VerinformRM which continues to enhance this powerful tool for residency information management. These improvements illustrate Verinform's continuous focus on increasing the capabilities of RM while making the system ever more user-friendly. A new resident FTE report that makes it much easier for Graduate Medical Education offices to accurately establish the basis for Medicare reimbursement. This new report integrates rotation assignment and resident demographic information to determine the correct FTE calculation for each resident, eliminating the need for GME professionals to manually integrate information from multiple sources and perform each calculation. |

Enhanced Medicare and IRIS cost report functionality that gives fiscal services personnel complete control over the factors contributing to the IME and DGME calculations, as well as allowing easier data entry and configuration. Rankings that enable program directors and coordinators to rank residents and faculty based on evaluation results. An expanded permissions feature, called Workgroups, that provides significantly more flexibility in granting users access to specific information in the system. Instead of user access being limited to categories of other system users, VerinformRM now permits access to be granted as granularly as desired for each individual. For example, an attending physician mentoring a resident as an advisor now can be provided access to all evaluations of that resident by all attendings. A new Evaluation Comparative Statistics Report, which compares the evaluation results of an individual or group to those of another individual or group. A reformatted Evaluation Summary Report, showing the status of pending evaluations in a more readable format. Program coordinator ability to edit selected resident information. Release 3.0 enables super users to limit access by program coordinators to demographic information for residents within their own program, so program coordinators may now be permitted to edit the information of their residents without the concern that they inappropriately will be able to view the information of residents in other programs.
