Expanded Facilities Verinform Systems, Inc. today announced that it has signed a lease for approximately 8,000 square feet of new office facilities in the historic Dekum Building, located at 519 SW Third Avenue, Portland OR 97204. Verinform’s Executive Vice President, Edward M. Kolasinski, said “this new facility will enable us to provide better service to our expanding customer base. Our company accomplished a great deal despite cramped quarters, and it’s now time to provide room for our growing operational needs, particularly as our development, customer support and implementation teams expand.” Kolasinski went on to say, “moving to downtown Portland in the central business core is a big plus for our business, because it makes accessible a vast array of choices across the services we will need. Being in the center of the downtown community provides a sense of pace and diversity which matches our corporate values, and just isn’t available in a suburban office/flex park. Tough times in the current real estate market also work in our favor, generating flexibility and attractive pricing in structuring a deal that meets the needs of an early-stage company.” Associate Vice President Brad Christiansen of real estate brokerage Colliers International said “we’re delighted to have put together a creative package with Verinform. We represent a broad selection of high-quality facilities that are available on attractive terms to companies with the right forward-looking perspective. At a time when vacancy rates downtown are higher than we would prefer, and when conditions are also challenging for prospective tenants, it’s very satisfying to help create a win-win situation like this one.” Other terms of the lease agreement were not released.
