Second Funding Round: Lead Equity Investor to take Board
Seat Verinform Systems, Inc., announced today that it has received a second round of financing from a group of private investors. The round, now closed, was lead by HPK, LLC, a holding company of one of the region’s leading philanthropic families, the Keller Family. The amount raised is not being disclosed at this time. “This funding round is a vote of confidence from our investors,” said Dina Dickerson, Verinform’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “They know that medical education programs throughout the nation are under immediate pressure to install regulation-compliant systems governing 80-hour work week rules for medical residents. In today’s challenging economic environment, institutions are also recognizing the need for faster, more accurate and much less laborious ways to generate Medicare Cost Reports and to recover lost revenues through more accurate tracking of affiliate reimbursements. Verinform provides the only enterprise-wide solution available to the market today.” Verinform is also pleased to announce the appointment of Libby Keller McCaslin to the organization’s board of directors. Ms. McCaslin, an officer of HPK, LLC, the Keller Family holding company, holds a J.D. from Lewis and Clark College Northwestern School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Stanford University.
