Training: OnCall Call and Clinic Schedules Fundamentals

Overview

It is once again time to create call and clinic schedules for the new academic year in OnCall. In order to facilitate a smooth process, Verinform Systems training staff provide 90 minute training classes for new users and those seeking a refresher course. Check back for the next scheduled session or inquire at support@verinform.com.

Attendees: consider this training if you are a Residency Coordinator, Scheduler, Chief Resident, or Program Director who participates in creating call and clinic schedules for your program.

  • Create your call schedule
    • Assign call to staff
    • Assign multiple lines to a call
    • Assign preset call patterns
    • Set custom call patterns
  • Create your clinic schedule
    • Add your clinics
    • Assign AM, PM and evening clinics to staff
  • Tally call, clinic and duty hours for each staff member
  • Publish your schedules to the AMION website

Pre-Requisites

This course will be most effective if you first complete the following activities:

  • Download the OnCall scheduling software to your computer.
  • Create your rotation schedule.  For help, logon to www.amion.com and review the FAQs.
  • Publish your schedule to www.amion.com. The import cannot be completed without first publishing the schedule.
  • Contact Spiral Software to order the OnCall software and receive your passwords
  • Logon to www.amion.com and review the FAQs

Registration and Fees

Registration Process

  • Click the link here to register.
  • Click the check box next to the training session you want to attend
  • Click Register and enter your first name, last name and email address
  • Enter your credit card information and click "Submit Payment"
  • The page changes to "Registration Confirmed"
  • Look for "Course Material" on this page and click on the Glossary PDF and OnCall Icons PDF. Save these documents to your computer.
  • You will receive an email prior to the training session with a link to click on to access the training session. Please click on this link and run it prior to the training session to know that your computer meets the following WebEx requirements:
    • Microsoft Windows 98, ME, XP, NT, or 2000
    • Intel Pentium based or faster processor
    • 64 MB RAM (256 recommended)
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or 6, Mozilla 1.6 or Netscape 4.7 or 7.x
    • Java Script and cookies enabled in the browser
    • 56K or faster Internet connection
  • Contact WebEx Technical Support if you need assistance at 1-866-229-3239 and press Option 4
Fees are $75 per attendee unless covered by separate agreement.
